YOU WON’T HELP ME is getting a mini feature film, before the feature!! And YOU can get involved in making it happen!

YOU WON’T HELP ME is a story based on real life domestic violence relationships. After 3 hugely successful theatre runs of the full length play, supporting Women’s Aid and Mankind Initiative, YOU WON’T HELP ME has been adapted into a mini feature, but this time, same characters you all know and love, but a part of the story you don’t see in the play.

The play has saved many lives, educated thousands of people on domestic violence and the signs to look out for, as well as being 5 star reviewed hundreds of times, and OFFIES recognised.

We are so excited to be bringing this story and these characters to film so we can reach many more people and save more lives.

ZODIAC was founded in July 2020 by Jade Phoenix Hoskins — Lady Phoenix, a Trans woman and entrepreneur. She looked at Camden and saw a space the community needed but didn't fully have. A home. Not just a bar.

The permanent venue opened on 5th November 2021 at 119 Hampstead Road. What followed was five years of Trans Pride events, drag cabarets, community nights, and the kind of Saturday evenings people still talk about. Through a pandemic. Through financial pressure no independent venue should have to carry alone. Through every reason that could have closed those doors.

ZODIAC stayed open. Open. Trading. Fighting.

The community showed up. Over £300,000 raised for LGBTQ+ causes.Hundreds of events. Thousands of people who came through those doors and called it theirs.

Now they’re coming home. The doors open at noon on 9th May. This isn't a launch. It's a return.
